Rachel Somerville

Hola! I graduated from Appalachian State in 2017 and have just finished my first year teaching first grade in Mocksville, NC. I heard about the wonderful dual language program here at BDS and knew I wanted in! I grew up in Morelos, Mexico where my parents were Christian Missionaries for 17 years. 

Some of my favorite things in life are:

-coffee                    -otters

-chocolate             -hiking in the mountains

-waffles                   -Mo Willems books

...and teaching of course!
